Strengthening the Cooperative Voice through Grassroots Support
America’s Electric Cooperatives PAC is the federal political action committee of the nation’s electric cooperatives. Founded in 1966 and administered by the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA), the PAC helps support federal candidates who understand and champion issues important to electric cooperatives and the consumer-members they serve.
The PAC is powered by voluntary contributions from thousands of eligible cooperative supporters across the country. By participating, members of the cooperative community help strengthen relationships with policymakers and ensure electric cooperatives have a voice in decisions affecting reliability, affordability, and the communities they serve.
