The 2019 ORECA Mid-Year Meeting was held in July at Riverhouse on the Deschutes in Bend. The two-day ORECA conference focused on a variety of issues: from disaster planning and wildfire mitigation to communications and the recently concluded Oregon Legislative Assembly. More than 100 Oregon electric co-op leaders and associate members were in attendance.

One of the highlights of the meeting was Hood River Electric Cooperative joining the national trade association. NRECA Board President Curtis Wynn presented a signed NRECA resolution welcoming HREC into the network.
